These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Noor – Quran Companion mobile application and its related features, content, software, and services (collectively, the “Service”).
The Service is provided by:
M3 Strategies LimitedEmail: admin@m3strategies.co.uk
In these Terms, “Noor”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to M3 Strategies Limited. “You” and “your” refer to the individual accessing or using the Service.
Please read these Terms carefully. By downloading Noor, creating an account, purchasing a subscription, selecting an acceptance checkbox, or otherwise accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
If you download Noor through Apple’s App Store, your licence to install and use the application is also subject to Apple’s Standard End-User Licence Agreement (“Apple Standard EULA”).
These Terms govern Noor’s accounts, content, subscriptions, features, community functions, and services. They supplement the Apple Standard EULA and do not replace it.
Your use of Apple’s App Store, Apple in-app purchases, and Apple subscription-management tools is also subject to Apple’s applicable terms and policies.
If these Terms conflict with mandatory terms imposed by an app-store provider in relation to a purchase or platform service, the applicable app-store terms will govern that specific issue.
Noor is an Islamic learning and habit-building application.
Depending on the version of the Service, your subscription, your device, your region, and the features made available to you, Noor may provide:
We may add, remove, modify, suspend, or discontinue features as Noor develops.
Noor is intended to support personal learning, reflection, and habit-building. Noor is not:
Different scholars, schools of thought, communities, and traditions may reach different conclusions on certain matters. Noor does not guarantee that every answer, explanation, translation, lesson, calculation, or interpretation will reflect the view followed by you, your family, your mosque, or your community.
You remain responsible for verifying information and seeking advice from a trusted qualified scholar where appropriate.
You must not rely solely on Noor when making a significant religious, personal, legal, medical, or financial decision. This includes questions concerning:
For significant or sensitive issues, consult a suitably qualified scholar and any appropriate regulated professional.
Noor may help you identify relevant source material, but it is not a substitute for personalised advice.
Some Noor features may use artificial intelligence or automated systems to generate or organise responses.
These systems are designed to provide useful answers grounded in available source material. However, automated responses may still be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, mistranslated, missing important context, or unsuitable for your circumstances. A response may:
Where references are provided, you should review them directly.
You should not treat generated responses as a fatwa, a definitive religious ruling, or professional advice.
We do not guarantee that an automated response will be error-free merely because it includes a Qur’an verse, Hadith reference, or citation.
We aim to provide Islamic learning content with care. However, errors may occasionally occur due to technical issues, source formatting, translation differences, editorial decisions, or third-party content.
Translations and explanatory materials are interpretations intended to assist understanding. They are not a replacement for the original Arabic text of the Qur’an.
You should verify important quotations, translations, references, and narrations using trusted sources.
We do not claim ownership of the Qur’an or the underlying text of authentic religious sources. However, the Noor software, design, user interface, branding, compilation, arrangement, original lessons, original explanatory material, graphics, and other original elements may be protected by intellectual-property rights.
Prayer times shown in Noor are estimates generated using available information, which may include your location, device settings, selected calculation method, time zone, and third-party services. Prayer times can vary depending on:
Prayer notifications may be delayed, silenced, missed, duplicated, or prevented by your device settings.
You must not rely solely on Noor as your only source for prayer times or as your only prayer reminder. Where accuracy is important, verify the applicable prayer time with your local mosque or another trusted source.
Noor is not responsible for a missed prayer, delayed notification, incorrect reminder, inaccurate prayer-time estimate, or difference between Noor and the practice followed by your local community, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
Certain features may request access to your device location, including prayer-time functionality and any other location-dependent feature offered by the Service.
You may manage location permissions through your device settings.
If you deny, restrict, or withdraw location access:
You remain responsible for confirming that the location and settings used by Noor are correct.
Your personal information is handled in accordance with the Noor Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 13 years old to create a Noor account or use Noor’s account-based, social, or interactive features.
If you are under 18 years old, you confirm that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed these Terms and permitted you to use the Service.
A higher minimum age or additional parental-consent requirement may apply in your country.
An app-store age rating does not override these eligibility requirements.
When creating an account, you agree to:
You are responsible for activity conducted through your account unless the activity results from a security issue for which we are legally responsible.
Noor may allow you to choose a username, customise a character or avatar, and display limited profile information. You must not use a username, profile, or avatar that:
We may remove or modify inappropriate content and may suspend or terminate accounts that misuse profile features.
Automated filters may fail to identify every inappropriate username or may incorrectly reject an acceptable username.
Noor may allow you to add friends, share progress, compare streaks, and motivate other users. Depending on the available features, connected friends may be able to view limited information such as:
Only add or accept people you trust. You must not use friend features to:
Friend-progress information may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate.
We may remove friend connections, restrict functionality, or suspend accounts where reasonably necessary to protect users or prevent misuse.
You may be able to submit questions, profile information, support messages, or other content through Noor.
You retain ownership of content that belongs to you.
You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to process, host, transmit, reproduce, and use your submitted content only as reasonably necessary to:
This licence ends when the content is deleted, except where continued retention is legally permitted or reasonably required for security, backup, or legal purposes.
Do not submit:
Your use of Noor is subject to the Noor Privacy Policy.
Access to some or all Noor features may require a paid subscription unless a free feature, trial, promotional period, or other access arrangement is expressly offered.
Available plans, billing periods, prices, currencies, and promotional offers are shown before purchase.
Prices may vary by country, currency, taxes, app-store region, promotional offer, and subscription type.
Where your subscription is purchased through Apple’s App Store:
You are responsible for reviewing the subscription details before confirming your purchase.
We may offer a free trial, discounted introductory offer, promotional price, or limited-time subscription offer. Where an offer is available:
You are responsible for reviewing the purchase screen before confirming a subscription.
You may cancel a subscription using the subscription-management tools provided by the app-store platform through which you purchased it.
Deleting Noor from your device does not cancel your subscription.
Deleting your Noor account does not automatically cancel an active app-store subscription.
You must separately cancel your subscription through the applicable app-store account settings if you do not want it to renew.
Cancellation generally prevents future renewal. It does not necessarily end access immediately. You may retain access until the end of the paid subscription period, subject to the applicable app-store rules.
Where a subscription or other purchase is billed through Apple’s App Store, refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple’s policies and applicable law.
M3 Strategies Limited does not control Apple’s refund decisions or payment-processing systems.
Nothing in these Terms removes any refund, cancellation, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Noor may display advertisements or links to third-party websites, products, or services.
An advertisement or external link does not necessarily mean that we endorse the advertised product, service, website, claim, or organisation.
Third-party services may have their own terms, privacy notices, cookies, tracking technologies, payment arrangements, content, and security practices.
We do not control third-party websites or services and are not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy, or practices except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
Review third-party terms and privacy notices before using an external service.
You may use Noor only for lawful personal purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
Contact admin@m3strategies.co.uk if you become aware of a security vulnerability or serious misuse.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and any applicable app-store terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to access and use Noor for personal, non-commercial purposes.
This licence does not transfer ownership of Noor or any related intellectual-property rights to you.
We reserve all rights not expressly granted.
Noor’s software, design, branding, logos, graphics, original lessons, original explanatory content, user interface, arrangement, and underlying technology are owned by or licensed to M3 Strategies Limited and may be protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may not use Noor’s name, logos, branding, or original content without permission.
Nothing in these Terms claims ownership over the Qur’an itself or over underlying religious texts that are not owned by M3 Strategies Limited.
Third-party translations, narrations, sources, materials, or services remain subject to the rights of their respective owners.
If you submit suggestions, feedback, or ideas about Noor, you grant M3 Strategies Limited a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use that feedback to develop, improve, and operate our products and services.
This does not transfer ownership of your personal information or override the Noor Privacy Policy.
We may update, improve, modify, restrict, suspend, or discontinue part or all of Noor. We may change:
We do not guarantee that a particular feature, lesson, translation, answer, or content item will always remain available.
Where required by law or applicable app-store rules, appropriate notice will be provided.
Noor may depend on third-party platforms, systems, and providers. These may include:
We do not control every aspect of third-party services.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for a delay, interruption, outage, error, change, restriction, or failure caused by a third-party service or by your device settings.
You may stop using Noor at any time.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access where reasonably necessary, including where:
Where reasonably practicable and legally appropriate, we will provide notice.
Account termination does not automatically cancel an app-store subscription. You remain responsible for cancelling an active subscription through your app-store account.
Sections intended by their nature to continue after termination will remain effective, including provisions concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, governing law, and disputes.
Nothing in these Terms removes a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that statement and to the maximum extent permitted by law, Noor is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that:
You are responsible for verifying important information.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for:
Subject to Section 27.1 and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses caused by:
Noor is primarily intended for personal and consumer use.
If you use Noor as a consumer, we are not responsible for business losses, including loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of business opportunity, loss of anticipated savings, loss of goodwill, or business interruption.
We remain responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach where applicable consumer law requires us to accept responsibility.
Subject to Section 27.1 and only to the extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability to you arising from or relating to Noor will not exceed the greater of:
This cap does not apply where enforcing it would be unlawful or unfair under applicable consumer law.
You are responsible for losses you cause through unlawful use of Noor or a material breach of these Terms.
If you use Noor for business purposes or on behalf of an organisation, you agree, to the extent permitted by law, to indemnify M3 Strategies Limited against third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of Noor or material breach of these Terms.
This Section does not require a consumer to compensate us for losses caused by our own negligence, breach of law, or failure to comply with these Terms.
We are not responsible for delays, interruptions, or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control. These may include:
Where practicable, we will take reasonable steps to restore affected functionality.
Our collection, use, retention, and sharing of personal information is described in the Noor Privacy Policy.
The Noor Privacy Policy is available through the App and the Noor App Store listing.
For privacy questions or requests, contact: admin@m3strategies.co.uk
We may update these Terms from time to time.
When we update them, we will revise the “Last updated” date.
Where required by law, we will provide reasonable notice of material changes through the App, by email, or through another appropriate method.
Where required, we will request your agreement to materially updated Terms.
If you do not agree to updated Terms, stop using Noor and cancel any active subscription separately through your app-store account settings.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not remove mandatory protections that apply under the laws of your country of residence.
If you are a consumer living in the United Kingdom, you may bring legal proceedings in the courts that apply to your place of residence.
Before starting formal proceedings, you and M3 Strategies Limited should attempt to resolve the issue by contacting each other and allowing a reasonable opportunity to respond.
Nothing in this Section prevents either party from seeking urgent legal relief where appropriate.
These Terms, the Noor Privacy Policy, and any applicable app-store terms form the agreement governing your use of Noor.
If a court or other competent authority finds that part of these Terms is unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
If we do not immediately enforce a provision, that does not mean we have waived the right to enforce it later.
You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written permission. We may transfer our rights and obligations as part of a merger, restructuring, financing, acquisition, or sale of our business, provided that your mandatory legal rights remain protected.
Except where an applicable app-store agreement states otherwise, a person who is not a party to these Terms does not have the right to enforce them.
